In case you’d rather get to Miami Beach on your own two wheels, it’s simple to rent a car at the airport and make the trip. The MIA Mover, an automated train system, will transport you directly from the airport to the MIA Rental Car Center.

The Miami Intermodal Center is conveniently located near to the MIA Rental Car Center and you can pick up a rental car from a well-known agency right here and be on the road in no time. 

To return your rental car to the airport, either enter 3900 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33142 into your GPS or look for the Rental Car Return signage but remember to leave lots of time when returning a rental car, taking the MIA Mover and checking in for a flight, just in case there are any delays along the way.

EXPRESS BUS SERVICE IS A FAST AND ECONOMICAL OPTION

The Miami Beach Airport Express, operated by Miami-Dade Transit, travels daily between Miami International Airport and Miami Beach, making stops at several locations along the beach between First and Forty-First Streets.

From 6 a.m. to 11:40 p.m., seven days a week, airport shuttle buses run typically every 30 minutes and the buses are 40 feet long and include luggage racks and comfy seating for its passengers and currently costs less than $3 one way.

Does Miami Airport Have A Free Shuttle

Currently, Miami Airport does not have a free shuttle bus but it does have an Airport Shuttle Train called  The MIA Metromover that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It gives free access to Downtown Miami with a travel time to the city centre of approximately 30 minutes.

How Far Is South Beach (Miami Beach) From The Airport

It is approximately 12 miles from Miami Airport to South Beach and Miami Beach and takes around 20 minutes depending on traffic.
