Inter Miami Soccer Team is a professional soccer team that plays in Major League Soccer situated in Miami, Florida. David Beckham, Marcelo Claure and Jorge and Jose Mas were the original founders of the team in 2018, along with David Beckham.

The club calls the recently remodelled Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, which is located in close proximity to Miami International Airport, their home field for the season. Inter Miami is the 25th team to join the Major League Soccer (MLS), and their formal announcement came in January of 2018.

The name of the squad was chosen to both pay tribute to the city of Miami and acknowledge the expanding presence of Latino supporters in the surrounding area.
